Retail Wine Sales Down 15 Percent in March
Sales Value Dropped 15 Percent in March Off-premise table wine sales fell nearly 15 percent versus a year ago in the four weeks ended March 27, NielsenIQ scan data showed, totaling $1.2 billion. The decline reflected the lack of pantry-loading this spring but sales remained above those seen prior to the pandemic.
