An easy way to identify a growing trend in winery technology is to track how many of its vendors attend wine industry trade shows. Polymer flooring vendors are now exhibiting at most trade shows—and for good reason: their floors are a perfect fit for our industry, and wineries are finally realizing their value. During the 2015 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, I decided to revisit polymer floors and talk with manufacturers and old friends to see how our industry is embracing the technology.
