I got a call from my pal Jordan Kivelstadt, founder and CEO of Free Flow Wines in Napa, to come see the latest addition to their keg fulfillment program, where they package your wine in kegs and cycle it through the nation’s distribution system. He told me it was a really cool, automated machine implemented to increase the company’s production. This announcement was only a matter of time since their business model is beyond excellent and the forecast for the keg business shows nothing but growth. For me, “cool” is watching young entrepreneurs revolutionize wine marketing possibilities for restaurants, hotels, resorts and soon cruise lines.
