Michigan's Emerging Wine Country
A strong new force of viticulturists and enologists are redefining America's "wine country." They've settled throughout the state of Michigan and are producing some world-class varietals that could fool the most avid French or Californian wine-lover. Michigan now ranks 13th in wine production by volume in the US. It's also the fourth largest producer of grapes for juice and non-alcoholic beverage processing in the nation.
