The international exhibition featured interesting new equipment for the wine industry
The 29th-annual SIMEI exhibition, the international enological and bottling equipment show, took place in Milan, Italy from November 15-18, 2022. Organized by the Unione Italiana Vini, the show was held at the Fiera Milano, a very large commercial fairgrounds on the outskirts of Milan. Internationally-recognized for innovative winemaking and bottling technology, SIMEI opened this year’s show with the presentation of plaques to the winners of the “Lucio Mastrobernardino Innovation Challenge SIMEI 2022.” The awards are named in honor of Lucio Mastrobernardino, an Italian winery owner who was president of SIMEI when he passed away in 2013.
