As a Market Manager you will support an exciting spirit brand in a specified geographic area, enabling the commercialization of brand objectives, goals, strategies, and measures locally in the On-Premise channel. Establish effective working relationships with local sales/account gatekeepers and bring authenticity and credibility to the brand with target consumers, tastemakers, bartenders, and influencers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Acts as an ambassador to assigned brands including hosting events, leveraging social media and other tools to promote within his/her community and reach target consumers and bartenders.
• Travels regularly across assigned geography to participate in and implement OP account activations that drive visibility, advocacy and trial.
• Builds, implements, and manages consumer activation strategies, programs, and events with brand and agency partners. Influences education/relationship builders- focused on consumer target. Develops, implements, and engages active participant in brand events.
• Gathers real-time photo and video content to be shared with the brand social media team.
• Participates in debriefs after events to effectively decipher strengths and opportunities.
• Uses tools such as activation guidelines, playbooks, etc. to ensure on equity activation in accounts and works cross-functionally to improve brand visibility in the marketplace.
• Partners with relevant Gallo sales (BDM, MDM, SDS, BAM) and relevant distributor personnel on local programming/plans that will deliver against distribution/volume goals in OP accounts if applicable.
• Leverages technology (i.e. Account 360) and digital assets to monitor performance, identify opportunities/gaps in execution and make recommendations to Gallo sales team and brand team.
• Participates in relevant sales meetings & activities and brand activities focused on right product in right account including GSMs, market surveys, blitzes and crew drives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery marketing, sales, or Gallo affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of Spirits, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, Agency Ambassador, Event Promotion, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school Diploma plus 7 years of Spirits, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, Agency Ambassador, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. Experience with owned social media and networks.

• Required to travel by air and automobile up to 25% during the course of business.
• Experience with Event or Hospitality Management.
• CSS or in process of obtaining within 1 year of employment.

• Required to be 21 years of age or older.
• Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery marketing, sales, or Gallo affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of Spirits, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school Diploma p[us 9 years of Spirits, Brand Sales, Hospitality, Culinary, Bartender/mixology, Supplier/Wholesaler, or Tasting Room experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.


Prior brand experience, preferably focused.


Entrepreneurial mindset, creative with excellent presentation skills.


Established social Alcohol beverage network, personal interest, bias to engage and go deeper, proven inquisitiveness.


Established relationships within the designated market.


Experience with selling and activating premium and luxury spirits


Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.


Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence and press releases.


Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clientele, customers and the general public.
