Hospitality and Experience Lounge Manager
Paso Robles, CA
Job Description:
Westside Boutique Winery is looking for a Hospitality & Experience Lounge Manager to lead our Estate located in Paso Robles, CA. This position plays the role of being a key brand ambassador. The Hospitality & Experience Lounge Manager must have a strong passion for excellence and uncompromising drive toward success. This position will work closely with the Owners and Director of Sales to continually strategize and execute initiatives to earn and cultivate guest relations, drive sales and list conversions, control costs and effectively manage and lead the tasting room.

Performance Measures:
• Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding sales and metric goals, inclusive of conversions and data collection
• Provide an elevated guest experience that exceeds guest expectations
•
Management Responsibilities:
• Oversees and manages the daily activities of the Tasting Room; sales initiatives, inventory accuracy, cash reconciliation, operating expenses, exceeding service standards
• Puts a high priority in achieving goals and the establishment of customer relationships
• Maintain and manage accurate usage of POS system and reservations system
• Communicates and responds to customer inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner
• Manages wine, merchandise, food, and dry goods inventories and performs regular inventory counts and reconciliations
• Owns the company philosophy/standards and takes a lead in scheduling regular meetings to stay updated
• Personally hosts experiences and has a high level of presence within the hospitality space
• Actively seeks information to better understand Linne Calodo Wine Estates
• Ensures a high level of cleanliness in both indoor and outdoor spaces
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, training, development, and evaluation of tasting room team performance
• Development and execution of on-going and continued staff education inclusive of information about wine, vineyard practices, Paso Robles, Willow Creek AVA, sustainability efforts and strong sales tactics
• Develops and fosters relationships and business development opportunities within the community
• Reports on, analyzes, and makes recommended strategic adjustments to achieve tasting room sales/performance goals
• Works autonomously to manage and care for the facility and property
• Manages rental reservations, acts as a concierge to those guests and facilitates the vendors needed to host
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Event Responsibilities:
• Organizes event execution and small private event booking
Wine Club Pick Up parties –
i. Organize staffing of Spring and Fall Wine club parties
Special Events at Winery
i. Work with TRM for big weekends
ii. Small club member dinners
1. Arrange with chefs, rentals, timing etc.
iii. Wine Club Pick Up Parties
1. Caterers, rentals, floral, etc.
2. Coordinate staffing
iv. Non-wine club events coordination and evolution.

Qualifications
• Strong level of managerial experience in either a wine or luxury hospitality space
• Proficiency in Apple Pages and Numbers. Experience with Vin65/WineDirect and Tock are preferred
• A knowledge and passion for wine

• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
Salary based on experience with full benefits and 401K.
