Hawks View Winery located in Sherwood, is just 45 minutes from downtown Portland and at the gateway of the Willamette Valley wine country. Specializing in estate grown wines from our 45-acre property, we cater to our local community and offer tasting rooms with extended hours and breathtaking views. Our associates are dedicated to delighting guests by providing excellent hospitality and serving great wine and food pairings in a beautiful environment.

Summary:
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Tasting Room Manager will develop, train, lead and manage the day-to-day efforts of the Winery’s front of the house for Direct to Consumer (DTC) wine sales, Wine Club memberships, tastings, and culinary sales. The Manager’s mission is to reinforce the brand, by delivering an exceptional guest service experience for members and guests, resulting in strong sales, profit generation, long term engagement, and brand loyalty. The Tasting Room Manager works five days a week including all weekends and holidays, to serve our wine club members and guests. The Tasting Room Manager reports to the General Manager and Managing Partner.

Compensation: $75,000 DOE

Schedule:

• Wednesday-Sunday at a minimum based on business needs.

Key Performance Indicators:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct the sale of new wine club memberships.
• Work on the floor as a member of the tasting room team and consistently model exemplary customer service.

• Develop and direct retention efforts for wine club memberships.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and annual tasting room sales and revenue goals.

• Understand and enforces the Hawks View values and service standards.

• Ensure adherence to human resources policies, accounting and inventory procedures.
• Maintain an inviting, organized, clean and fully stocked tasting room at all times.
• Multi-task and manage own time efficiently to assure deadlines are met.
