A server at Copper & Kings Rooftop Bar & Restaurant delivers a welcoming, fun, inclusive, and memorable guest experience to every guest.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains an uncompromised professionalism and composure at all times and all situations.
* Shares a passion for Copper and Kings products and culture and provides extraordinary guest experiences with effortless suggestions and honest salesmanship.
* Educates guests on Brandy, Gin, and Absinthe through detailed knowledge of Copper & Kings products and distillation process as well as extensive understanding of cocktails.
* Educates guests in an honest way about the history of Butchertown, our Brandy, our love for music and our food.
* Ensures guest expectations are being met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed at all times.
* Maintains the details of table and restaurant cleanliness in all areas of the building, throughout all hours.
* Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner.
* Works closely with Lead Supervisor to ensure all tasks are being completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift.
* Values the importance of internal hospitality and the necessary team environment this promotes.
Minimum Qualifications
* One to two years of experience in restaurant environment, preferably in a server or bartender role
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have a flexible schedule)
* Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high stress environment.
* Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience and Education in Craft Cocktails
* General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits
* History in bartending and a desire for upward mobility and cross training
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
* Works outdoors/indoors
* Works in warm/cold climates
* Works in high places
* Works on wet surfaces

* Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
* Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
