Position – Seasonal Cellar Hand
Looking for a master class in finishing wines? If so, the seasonal cellar hand position at In Good Taste is the role for you. From blending on the bench, to filtration, through bottling, and labeling, this is your chance to learn this process through and through. Head of Winemaking, Matt Smith, has over 20 years of experience and looks forward to leading the production team through our busiest bottling and sales season. This is by no means your typical harvest experience, but if you have 1-2 harvests under your belt and are looking for the next step, this is your chance to get a truly hands on experience with a winemaker that has seen it all.
Our production team are responsible for assisting in every aspect of the production of our product and perform a variety of tasks in our operation in order to ensure we maintain our industry-leading turnaround time in the fulfillment of our customer's orders.
Job Functions
Work in various capacities to include, but not limited to:
-Sanitize, monitor, and maintain bottling line
-Filtration - X-flow and lenticular
-Barrel Work - movements and maintenance
-Additions
-Load and unload tankers
-Cleaning, but that’s a given
Forklift experience, preferred, but not required.
Cleaning and general maintenance of bottling line equipment and production area.
Provide support in other departments, as needed.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to perform physical tasks and spend the majority of a shift on your feet.
Lift up to 50lbs.
Compensation
This is a temporary, hourly position to begin mid-July and end at the completion of Harvest 2022
Competitive hourly wage depending on experience
