Our Estate Ambassadors are responsible for providing luxury brand experiences for our guests by providing memorable tours and tastings, delivering exceptional service, and offering guests the opportunity to buy our wines, join our clubs and become long-term brand supporters.

Reporting to the Vice President of DTC, the Estate Ambassador enthusiastically excels in the following areas:

• Building new and retaining existing client relationships through engagement, follow up, and by providing outstanding service across all guest touchpoints

• Achieving or exceeding team sales and customer satisfaction goals

• Promoting natural, helpful sales by utilizing consultative selling skills to sell wine, encourage club membership and data capture, all in a brand-appropriate way while also ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction

• Ensuring excellent customer service by delivering a memorable, quality guest experience

• Leading compelling, well-designed tours that support desired brand messaging

• Conducting informative tasting experiences with the ability to display and convey knowledge of wine

• Building rapport with guests to find out more about their interests and their connection with our winery and wines

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer wines and clubs for sale that they would be most interested in based on the information
• gathered during the visit
• Handle customer concerns in a positive, expedient manner
• Stock wine inventory as needed
• Process all Tasting Room/Club orders using the POS system and assist with customer service follow up as necessary
• Ensure the Tasting Room is always clean, neat, and well maintained
• Assist with the setup and execution of special events as requested
• Complete other tasks and special projects as assigned

The ideal candidate is:

• Knowledgeable about wine
• Engaging and articulate, both verbally and in writing
• Motivated to delight guests while selling wine and club memberships
• Adaptable, reliable, calm, positive, and respectful

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of wines, winemaking techniques, vineyard practices, wine history, and tasting methods
• Must be 21 years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with Outlook, Office Suite, and POS
• Presents a polished appearance
• Team player who is collaborative and coachable
• Tasting room, restaurant, or wine experience in a similar setting preferable
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
