One of the two tasting rooms for Savage Grace Wines is in the Warehouse District in Woodinville, WA. Established in 2011 by Michael Savage with the vision to make expressive and balanced wine in an old-world style with lower alcohol. Savage Grace Wines are produced with minimal intervention and are single varietal and vineyard focused.

The Tasting Room Manager must demonstrate a strong focus on hospitality and provide educational and positive tasting experiences for guests and club members. The Tasting Room Manager works directly with the winery's General Manager and Wine Maker/ Owner to help grow the DTC sales and hospitality. The Woodinville Tasting Room Manager is also responsible for meeting the winery's fulfillment needs. The position offered is a three-day-a-week position on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Compensation includes a higher-than-average hourly wage, tips, plus a percentage of sales. This position comes with tangible sales goals that also allow for the Tasting Room Manager's growth in compensation. We are looking for creative and hungry individuals who enjoy thinking outside the box, don't need micromanaging, and seize opportunities where they may. We are small, intimate, not corporate, and appreciate individualism that is like-minded and aligns with the team philosophically.

Responsibilities:
• Create a buzzing & welcoming environment for our guests and club members.
• Strong understanding of Wine Direct platform.
• Strong experience in fulfillment and shipping.
• Conduct professional, educational, engaging, & memorable wine tasting experiences for all guests.
• Strong sales focus with proven ability to sell & upsell wine.
• Build strong communication and relationships with wine club members to improve retention rates.
• An ability to be authentic, original, and comfortable when leading and educating.
• Be proactive in connecting with the winery management team to acquire all tools and answer questions.
• Scheduling of staff for tasting room and events when needed.
• Manage multiple tasks & deadlines, prioritize as needed, with strong attention to detail.


Qualifications:
• Previous Tasting Room or hospitality experience preferred
• Wine knowledge required
• Friendly, positive, and professional appearance and disposition
• Superior customer service & sales and event planning skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, emphasizing positive problem-solving abilities.
