Growers and Vintners Partner on Sustainable Winegrowing CodeThe Wine Institute and the California Association of WineGrape Growers continue to work together on development of the new sustainable winegrowing practices code, a voluntary code expected to lay the framework for the industry to integrate environmental management systems into their businesses. It is hoped that the code will preempt additional government regulation and help the wine industry promote itself as socially responsible, particularly in densely populated California.
