In addition to U.S. wineries, WBM tracks wineries in Canada and found that there were 364 grape wineries in Canada as of November 2009, an additional 36 wineries since 2008, representing an 11 percent increase (see table). Although there are dozens of other non-grape wineries in Canada, only grape wineries have been included. Pending licenses have not been included in this count.
