Team Bob and fam, #cancersucks
Hi!
I met Bob a few years ago working as a photographer for the Napa Valley Film Festivals. We both were photographing different venues for the event. We are assigned to one of the food ones at one time. It was good to get to know him a bit. Then over the years we would run to each other in the community, refer clients / gigs to each or work other events around the Napa Valley, such as Bottle Rock.
Also this past year, his kids started attending the same school as my children.
This past fall (2021), I learned from other photographer friends that Bob had a form of Hodgkin lymphoma, I had reached out to him to see how our school community can help him and his family. While Bob wasn't feeling his best, I met with Julie and it was decided a meal train would be set for him and his family, as way to help ease a little bit of the burden. (https://mealtrain.com/d88dnz)
Bob recently shared on FB his journey. From that , an outpouring of love and support was bestowed on Bob, Julie and their sons.
In addition to the signing up for delivering a meal, many have reached wanting to do more and give more to help McClenahan's fight and get through this cancer journey.
All funds raised through this GoFundMe will go towards whatever needs (medical bills, therapies, transportation, regular bills, etc) that the McClenahan's may encounter .
If you feel led to give, it would be greatly appreciated. I know that both Bob and Julie are incredibly grateful and overwhelmed with all the support they have received thus far.

I feel like it’s time to let everyone know what’s going on with me.
The short version is I have cancer. I’ve been battling it since I found out in June. I went through one round of chemo, but the cancer is still there. I’m currently in the hospital going through various procedures to get me healthy again, because I now need to go through another more aggressive chemo treatment. When that’s done, then I’ll need to spend a few more months in the hospital getting a bone marrow transplant.
