PRODUCTION OPERATIONs MANAGER
我ndustry Leading, Multi-line, Alternative Packaging and Blending operation for Wine and Spirits & RTD's.
State of the art temperature controlled facility.

Range of Oversight:

- Responsible for coordinating production activities such as bottling, packing, blending, carbonating, etc.
- Supervises and coordinates all daily production activities.
- Plan material deliveries to ensure continuous operation and avoid production downtime of all facilities.
- Coordinate and track the reception/movement of supplies and packaging materials.
- Participate in production planning meeting with warehouse manager, planner/scheduler and cellar staff.
- Update biweekly finite schedule to optimize production operations.
- Provide quick responses to production issues.
- Track and report production schedule.
- Oversees and tracks the Preventive Maintenance of the machinery.
- Approve worked hours from department staff.
- Actively involved with hiring bottling temps.

Material and Capacity Operations

- Oversee production and packaging inventory of dry supplies with warehouse manager
- Ensures that packaging standards meet established guidelines.
- Order supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Based on package performance provides input to bottling, packaging, and marketing on materials used on packages.
- Develops, maintains, and reports on a production plan to meet normal demand.
- Identify facility’s capacity limitations as compared to projected demand and effectively present recommendations through logical analysis on how to best allocate resources
and optimize efficiency to meet goals.

Staff Development and Safety

- Conducts department meetings to assure good communications with department personnel and encourage good morale.
- Conducts production, equipment, and safety trainings.
- Evaluates and monitors staffing levels based on production requirements assuring efficient use of personnel.
- Conducts performance evaluations of all department personnel.
- Ensures safety and accident prevention programs are communicated, that employees are properly trained and that there is compliance with all safety rules.
- Responsible for counseling and discipline of personnel with the approval of HR and higher management.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of previous experience in winery and/or beverage production.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills
- High level of confidentiality and ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Spanish language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to perform simple and complex mathematical conversions.
- Ability to use good judgment to make timely and sound decisions.
- Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
