PAY RATE: $20.00 / Hour

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Lead Deli Associate, you will be responsible to prepare a variety of food selections quickly and consistently in line with our company standards. You should have the ability to properly create and prepare various food items served from our both our deli counter and our guest events on the patio. You ought to also be available to work efficiently during peak business hours. Your main goal will be to help increase customer satisfaction by preparing high-quality food items.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to prepare all food selections from our menu
Monitor food stock and submit purchase orders from our vendors orders
Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilized equipment
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment to include meat slicers
Understanding of food hygiene and health department requirements
Ensures public and staff safety at all times
Ensures guest satisfaction, informs manager of any situations
Responsible for communicating any opportunities, issues or concerns to leadership
Responsible to complete other duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Proficient in the preparation of all food selection whether hot or cold
Outstanding understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.
Computer skills required
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent listening skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Quick decision-making skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of experience in the food preparation and hospitality industry
Food knowledge preferred

Passion for customer service and satisfaction
Must be able to work weekends

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand and walk as required by job duties
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
