Best Practices Drive Continued Wine Club Growth Direct-to-consumer sales account for 60 percent of winery revenue
The 2016 Wine Business Monthly/Silicon Valley Bank Direct-to-Consumer Survey, which drew more than 800 responses, shows that wineries continue to refine, build upon and improve their direct-to-consumer (DTC)models. Winery clubs are seeing double-digit growth. DTC sales are an increasing revenue source, especially for smaller wineries that are less likely to sell through three-tier distribution.
