The wine competition is a highly anticipated event every year ahead of RodeoHouston, which is happening Feb. 28 to March 20, 2022. This year, there were 2,862 entries from 17 countries, including 480 entries from Texas wineries.
A California wine from Paso Robles took the top spot as Grand Champion Best of Show. The state had the best showing, with six wines winning the competition's various categories.
